Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, Sylvamo Europe employs approximately 2,500 people and operates two pulp and paper mills in France (Saillat) and Russia (Svetogorsk) along with forestry operations in both countries, a shared services center in Krakow, Poland as well as sales offices throughout the region.

The mill produces pulp and paper, is ISO 9001,14001, 45001, FSC, PEFC, Ecolabel and OFG certified, and has two forestry subsidiaries: CBB for wood sourcing and Foret Services for sustainable forest management.

Located on the Karelian Isthmus in Russia, the Svetogorsk mill employs more than 1700 people and produces printing papers, liquid packaging board and innovative bleached chemical thermo-mechanical pulp (BCTMP). ISO 14001, 14001 IQ Net, 9001, OHSAS 18001 and FSSC 22000 certified, the mill is one the most efficient and modern in Russia.
